Are the centers of the armored beds interchangeable?Updated 2 months ago

Yes, for the most part. If you have a mesh bed, for example, you can remove the mesh sling and replace it with a padded or ripstop sling instead. If you have a padded center, you can replace it with a non-padded sling. All you need is a 4.5 mm hex key and the rods from the original center, and the swap can be easily done. 

Some exceptions do apply. We have a couple different versions of cots now, due to updates that have happened over the many years that this product has been sold. Rounded-style cots, which are our oldest version and have rounded-edge frames and corners, are not compatible with the current replacement centers that we sell. You would not be able to swap a mesh or padded sling into one of these beds. 

Squared frame beds (those with squared off frame edges and corners) with old dimensions are also no longer compatible with our replacement slings. To see if your bed will work with one of our slings, compare the outer dimensions of your frame with the dimensions listed for the sling. If they don't match up, it means you have an older square-frame and the slings won't fit.
